Eva is a freshman majoring in Integrative Neuroscience at DePaul University. She is currently working to conduct research on preventive medicine for neurodegenerative disorders, specifically investigating the genetic risk factors of the APOE gene in AD, TBI, and CTE. She hopes to later incorporate her background in music to study musical intervention therapies as a treatment method for Alzheimer's disease. At DePaul, Eva is the student representative for first-year neuroscience majors in the College of Science and Health Student Association; she is also involved with PreMed Pals, the Asian Cultural Exchange, and Boxing Club. She volunteers as an English tutor at the Hanul Family Alliance and is a mentor for the Illinois Science and Technology Coalition. Originally from California, Eva loves to swim, travel, and cook for her friends and family.
